The District passed a bond measure in the May 2018 election with the total program budget being approximately $207.9 million, consisting of a $199.9 million general obligation bond, a $6.2 million Oregon Department of Education (ODE) grant, and a $1.8 million seismic grant from the State of Oregon. The intended scope of the 2018 Facilities Bond Program includes two new elementary schools which will replace Hoover and Lincoln Elementary Schools, the replacement of 21 modular classrooms across the district’s elementary schools with permanent classroom facilities, the addition of multi‐purpose dining commons at four elementary schools, capital repairs district‐wide, safety upgrades district‐wide, and the modernization of teaching spaces district‐wide.
