Wenaha Group provided project management services for the Benewah Medical Center which provides medical and dental care, counseling and community health services, and houses a laboratory and pharmacy. Features include 50,000 SF medical and dental care, counseling and community health services, a laboratory and pharmacy and serves 6,500 patients. It has been designed to look like it’s part of the earth, “like it has grown out as a formation.” A rotunda showcases to a rooftop garden with a small patio and a view of the town and surrounding mountains. A 1,600 SF freestanding building houses maintenance equipment such as a snow plow and provide extra storage space for supplies that are not regularly delivered.

Wenaha Group provided project management services for the Puyallup Tribe of Indians new 20-unit elderly care center. The facility features individual suite and one-bedroom living units, shared day rooms with a family gathering space, outdoor private and shared patios and balconies, perimeter fenced security, nurse call stations, individual WIFI options, shared gardens, parking, and an indoor walkway to the tribes current community House of Respect. The housing tucks into the hillside, connected on the ground floor to the Elder Center to allow for shared program including full meal services in its dining room and use of all social and wellness support spaces. The assisted living facility gives the Elders a comfortable place to call home.

Wenaha Group provided program management services for the new 64,000 SF healthcare facility incorporating their services, support departments and includes room for expansion of current and additional services of the Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center. The clinic provides direct clinical, community health, behavioral health and contract health plus all the necessary administrative, IT and facility support departments. This facility was designed and constructed in a manner that respects the Tribe’s history, culture and values.
